Our Services
At Truyu Health & Wellbeing, our philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental health care should be thoughtful, personalized, and deeply human. We understand healing as more than symptom relief, it is a process of helping people feel more connected to themselves, supported in their relationships, and aligned with the life they want to live.
Across our services, including medication management, psychotherapy, adult ADHD evaluations, and pharmacogenetic testing, we take time to understand the full picture of each person’s experience. Our care is LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodiversity affirming, reflecting our commitment to creating a supportive environment where individuals can feel understood, respected, and valued. By blending evidence-based treatment with compassion, collaboration, and whole-person care, we create individualized plans that support clarity, stability, self-understanding, and long-term well-being.

Adult ADHD can affect focus, organization, motivation, time management, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. Our adult ADHD evaluations are designed to help you better understand your symptoms, gain diagnostic clarity, and identify personalized next steps for support and treatment.
-
Pharmacogenetic testing uses your genetic information to help predict how your body may respond to certain medications. This personalized approach can provide valuable insight into medication effectiveness, dosing considerations, and the potential for side effects, helping to support more informed treatment decisions. While not a guarantee of how a medication will work, it can be a useful tool in creating a treatment plan tailored to you.
Specialized Areas of Care
LGBTQ+ Affirming Care
LGBTQ+ affirming therapy provides a safe, inclusive space where you can explore your mental health, identity, relationships, and lived experiences without judgment. Neurodiversity Affirming Care

What We Treat
-
Description text goes hereDepression is more than feeling sad. It can feel like moving through life on autopilot, losing interest in things that once mattered, or no longer recognizing the person you used to be. Many people describe feeling exhausted and disconnected, and wonder if they will ever feel like themselves again. While depression can make it difficult to imagine things getting better, effective treatment can help individuals reconnect with themselves and move toward a greater sense of hope and well-being.
-
Anxiety and panic disorders can make it difficult to feel at ease in everyday life. People often describe persistent worry, overthinking, difficulty quieting their minds, or feeling constantly on edge. Some may also experience sudden episodes of intense fear or physical symptoms that seem to come out of nowhere. While anxiety and panic can be overwhelming, effective treatment can help individuals build confidence, improve coping skills, and regain a greater sense of calm and balance.
-
Bipolar disorder involves shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels that can impact many areas of life. Some people experience periods of depression, while others experience episodes of elevated mood, increased energy, decreased need for sleep, or changes in judgment and behavior. Although these mood changes can feel overwhelming, bipolar disorder is a treatable condition, and many people achieve greater stability and improved quality of life with the right support and treatment.
-
Many adults with ADHD have spent years wondering why everyday tasks seem harder for them than they do for everyone else. They may struggle to stay organized, lose track of time, misplace important items, jump from one task to another, or find themselves relying on last-minute pressure to get things done. While these patterns can be frustrating and exhausting, effective treatment can help individuals better understand their strengths and challenges while developing tools to navigate life with greater confidence and success.
-
Loss can change us in ways we never expected. Many people find themselves grieving not only the loss of a loved one, but also the loss of a relationship, a role, a dream, a sense of health, or the life they thought they would have. Grief often comes in waves and can feel confusing, isolating, and deeply personal. Support can help individuals navigate the grieving process with greater self-compassion while finding ways to carry their loss forward and reconnect with life.
-
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) involves persistent, unwanted thoughts, fears, or doubts that can become difficult to ignore. People living with OCD often describe feeling trapped in a cycle of doubt, anxiety, and the need to be certain. Many people find themselves caught in cycles of checking, reassurance-seeking, repeating behaviors, mental rituals, or avoidance in an effort to reduce anxiety and regain a sense of certainty. While OCD can be exhausting and disruptive, effective treatment can help individuals break free from these patterns and reclaim more of their time, energy, and peace of mind.
-
Trauma can leave lasting effects long after a difficult experience has ended. People living with PTSD may struggle with unwanted memories, nightmares, feeling constantly alert or on guard, avoiding reminders of the trauma, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others. While these experiences can feel overwhelming and impossible to manage, healing is possible, and treatment can help individuals move toward greater safety, resilience, and well-being.
-
Sleep difficulties can leave people feeling exhausted, frustrated, and caught in a cycle of worrying about whether they will be able to sleep. Some struggle to fall asleep, others wake frequently throughout the night, and many find themselves lying awake with a mind that refuses to slow down. Over time, poor sleep can affect mood, concentration, energy, physical health, and overall quality of life. While medication may sometimes be helpful in the short term, lasting improvement often comes from addressing the thoughts, habits, and behaviors that interfere with healthy sleep and support long-term restorative rest.
-
Stress and burnout can develop when the demands of work, caregiving, relationships, or other responsibilities consistently exceed our capacity to recover and recharge. Many people describe feeling as though they are running on empty, struggling to keep up with daily demands, or losing the motivation and sense of purpose they once had. While chronic stress and burnout can affect both physical and emotional well-being, therapy can help individuals identify sources of stress, build healthier coping strategies, establish boundaries, and create sustainable changes that support recovery and resilience.
-
Life transitions can be challenging, even when they involve positive or expected changes. Many people are surprised by how difficult it can be to adjust to a new chapter of life and may find themselves feeling unsettled, overwhelmed, or grieving what was left behind. Therapy can provide support, perspective, and practical tools to help individuals navigate change and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
